IRENE H. YOUDERIN

Irene H. Youderin, 93, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at Benedictine Health Center, Duluth.

Irene Hattie Benning was born June 21, 1919 in Eveleth, Minn., the daughter of William and Agnes (Bartylla) Benning.

She grew up and graduated from Browerville High School. She married Lloyd Seth Youderin in 1939 in Bemidji, Minn. The family moved to Duluth in 1942. She was a member of the Duluth Camera Club. Irene enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crocheting, and cooking.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lloyd; daughter Barbara Wood; great-grandson, Aaron Taylor; infant brother Herbert; and sister Lorraine Gitar.

She is survived by her son, Leo (Pat) Youderin of Duluth; grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Steven, Briana, Belle and Lindy; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

VISITATION: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 until the 11 a.m. funeral service in Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 East Second Street, Duluth. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Duluth. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home (218) 727-3555
