Tricia Solem and Derek Menz, both of Duluth, were married April 21 at Gooseberry Falls State Park in Two Harbors.
Her parents are Nancy and John Carlson of Duluth and the late Thomas Solem. His parents are Rick and Susie Menz of Duluth.
The bride chose her sister, Tara Solem as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Hill, Mary Berg, Julie Myran and Julie Geissler.
The groom chose Carney Lien, Bobby Warttman, Matt Smith, David LeGarde and Riley Geissler as groomsmen.
The bride, a 2001 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology. She is a senior pharmacy technician at Walgreens in Duluth.
The groom, a 2002 graduate of Denfeld High School, attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. He is a member of the U.S. Air Force and is employed as an armament systems specialist for the Minnesota Air National Guard’s 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth.
