I WAS BORN: April 5, 2012, in Aurora Medical Center in Ken­osha, Wis.

MY PARENTS ARE: Chris and Tabitha Aho of Racine, Wis.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Sandra and Joe Ratliff of Racine; Timothy Sprous of Alto Pass, Ill.; and Agnes and Alvin Aho of Esko.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: I am named after my mom’s dads, which follows my dad’s family tradition of naming children after the grandparents.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Have fun, never stop learning, laugh a lot and enjoy life.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: We were not supposed to be able to have children. On the day of Timothy’s birth we went for a normal pregnancy check up at 8 a.m. and the doctor said, “You are going to have a son.” I said, “I know. . . in about a month,” and she said “No, now!”
