I WAS BORN: Aug. 23, 2011, in Mercy Hospital in Moose Lake.

MY PARENTS ARE: Allicen and Russell Waxlax of Willow River.

MY SIBLINGS ARE: Rion, 5, and Allice, 3.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Mary Alice and Steve Carlson of Barnum and Dan and Judy Waxlax of Silver Bay.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Phill and Alice Swensson of Barnum; Gerald and Ruth Carson of Willmar; and Anne Stegmeir of Mahtomedi, Minn.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They just really like the name Alex. Rico is from Great-great-grandpa Swensson, who was the first Lutheran missionary to the island of Puerto Rico, and Great-grandpa Phill has the same middle name.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: We wish for all of God’s blessings and grace as you grow. You are a handsome child of God and we are excited to watch your life unfold.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Your great-grandpa Phill called you Beeswax one time before you were born. For the rest of the pregnancy you were known to all as Baby Beeswax.
