MEMORABLE MOMENT Flemming, Lindahl engagement

Candace Flemming and Michael Lindahl, both of Superior, plan to be married Sept. 22 at Edgewater Resort in Duluth.

Her parents are Paul and Susan Flemming of Superior. His parents are the late Jalmar and Dorothy Lindahl.

The future bride, a 2005 graduate of Sup­erior High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in social work and is pursuing a master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

The future groom, a 1990 graduate of Carlton High School, graduated from Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet in 2009 with an associate degree and certification in human services, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human services at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He served in the Army 8/8 Field Artillery from 1990-92 and is an alcohol and drug counselor at Duluth Bethel.

Memorable Madeline

Michael proposed to Candace on their one-year anniversary on Madeline Island, where they spent an enjoyable weekend swimming, kayaking and touring.
