I WAS BORN: Aug. 19, 2011, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Joel and Sarah Strand of Cloquet.

MY SIBLINGS ARE: Spencer, 8, and Tyler, 6.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Pete and Jennie Boedigheimer and Chuck and Sandy Strand, all of Cloquet.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Ivy Borin of Carlton and the late Melvin Borin, Vernon and Velma Boedigheimer, Juanita (Anderson) Solem, Joe Anderson, Vivian (Strand) Frets and Bill Strand.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They wanted a name that ended in “er” like my brothers’ names. Mom and Dad both liked Joseph for my middle name.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: We love you very much, and you complete our family. You have two big brothers to teach you many fun things in life.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Tanner is the sixth grandson born on Mom’s side, and the ninth grandson born on Dad’s side. Between the two families there are no granddaughters. Go boys!
