Sarah Rood and Jesse Baker, both of Chicago, plan to be married Saturday at the Salisbury House in Des Moines, Iowa.

Her parents are George and Debbie Rood of Des Moines, Iowa. His parents are Ed and Cheryl Baker of Duluth.

The future bride graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in communication. She is employed by Prime Therapeutics.

The future groom graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul with a degree in entrepreneurship. He is employed by McKesson.
