Boil order for Two Harbors residents' water supply lifted

UPDATE: The city of Two Harbors announced the boil order Wednesday afternoon as a precaution because of low water pressure.

A boil order in effect for some residents of Two Harbors has been lifted.

The city of Two Harbors announced the boil order Wednesday afternoon as a precaution because of low water pressure. It included all properties south of and including 16th Avenue east of the railroad tracks (which would be 10th Street). People in those areas were asked to boil their drinking water or seek an alternative supply.

The boil order was lifted this afternoon.
