Michael T. Bradley, 62, of Duluth passed away on Sunday Aug. 5, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Michael T. Bradley, 62, of Duluth passed away on Sunday Aug. 5, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Mike was born Dec. 17, 1949 in Duluth to John E. and Georgia "Jane" (LaBaw) Bradley.

Mike graduated from Duluth Central High School in the class of 1968. On May 29, 1971, Michael T Bradley and Rosella C. Soderberg joined together in marriage.

Mike worked for the past 20 + years in civil engineering, where he was a master of bituminous (asphalt) mix design and testing for road construction. Mike and Rosy lived in and near Duluth, and shared many outdoor adventures over the years, especially near the family cabin on Onion River, near Tofte, Minn. Mike and Rosy also took great pride in raising their three children, all of whom graduated from college.

Mike loved to hunt and fish, especially to train Labrador retrievers to hunt grouse, pheasants, and ducks. He also enjoyed hunting deer and moose, especially by walking through the woods still-hunting, which, while not always resulting in downed game, was a great way to learn the habits of his quarry and work up a thirst for bourbon and ginger ale by the end of the day. Mike also hand-loaded ammunition and took great interest in unique hunting rifles and fine shotguns.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is incredibly loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Rosy Bradley; his brother Robert (Polly) Bradley; his children Kathryn Bradley, Michael (Lydie) Bradley, Jaclyn (Adam Kemp) Bradley, and granddaughter Katlyn.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, with a visitation one hour prior in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave Duluth, 624-5200.
