I WAS BORN: April 23, 2012, in Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Kevin and Katie Hanson of Duluth.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Steven Shannon of Esko; Stephen and Laurie Hanson of Saginaw; and the late Nancy Shannon.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Janice Shannon and Norine Gunderson, both of Duluth, and the late Lloyd Shannon, Harold and Janice Aldridge, Orville and Lois Hanson and John Gunderson.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: It was one of the only names they agreed on. They spelled it with a “K” to go with their names. My middle name was chosen to honor Grandpa Stephen.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: We hope you are happy, healthy and always kind to others. We hope you laugh as much in the future as you do now.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: We didn’t share your name with anyone until you were born. Honestly, we weren’t even sure until we saw you and decided the name was perfect!
