Duluth man electrocuted, killed in construction accident

A Duluth man died Monday afternoon after he was electrocuted in what the Duluth Police Department called a construction accident.

A Duluth man died Monday afternoon after he was electrocuted in what the Duluth Police Department called a construction accident.

Just before 5 p.m., emergency responders were called to a home on the 1500 block of Seventh Avenue East. First responders found the 38-year-old man unconscious and not breathing when they arrived.

He was sent to Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The police department is investigating the accident.
