Reader’s view: Nobody has the right to decide others’ relationships

The July 30 letter, “City turned upside down over support of homosexuals,” left me with my mouth hanging open.

The July 30 letter, “City turned upside down over support of homosexuals,” left me with my mouth hanging open.

I know many people who are in same-sex relationships. Why in the world does anyone care who another person has a relationship with? Leaving out religious views, let me ask: Who has the right to tell another person who they can be with? I am fearful of these people as much as the people who preach pro-life and then bomb abortion clinics. Is this logical? Absolutely not.

May I suggest the letter writer worry about feeding the homeless in Duluth and fighting for rent control, just to name a few other issues?

Help your fellow men and women by honoring their choices and by supporting them.
