I WAS BORN: July 27, 2011, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Jeff and Christina Berglund of Esko.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Patsy Zollar of Tower; Linda and Jerry Berglund of Esko; and the late Donald Micklich and Robert Zollar.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Buddy and Betty Berglund of Cloquet; Joan Carlson of Carlton; and the late Oliver and Vivian Bennett and Lorraine and Don Carlson.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They narrowed down a list to three and then wrote down their favorite — and they both chose Adalyn! It was a perfect fit. My middle name is after my late great-grand-mother Vivian Bennett.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Follow your dreams! May you live a happy, healthy and beautiful life. We love you so much!

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Mommy was induced on July 26 and was really hoping you would arrive that day. You had other plans, though, and waited until just after midnight to give Auntie Carissa a very special birth­day gift.
