Dennis and MaryAnn Robnik of Esko celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a boat cruise on Lake Saguaro in Apache Junction, Ariz., with some family members and friends.

Dennis and the former MaryAnn Hill were married April 28, 1962, in Messiah Lutheran Church in Duluth.

Their children are Dan and Pat Robnik of Rochester, Minn.; Don and Deb Robnik of Proctor; Andy and Amy Robnik of Esko; Amy and Eric Joob of Huntley, Ill,; and Adam Robnik of Blaine, Minn. They have 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Dennis is retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Eagan, Minn. MaryAnn is retired from St. Louis County in Duluth.

Secret to staying married: The secret to a happy marriage is to remember your marriage vows and promises you made before God. Divorce is never an option. Communication is vital!
