MEMORABLE MOMENT: Langehaug, Sweezy engagement

Karena Langehaug of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Brian Sweezy of Duluth, plan to be married Aug. 25 at Father Hennepin Bluffs Park in North­eastern Min­neapolis.

Karena Langehaug of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Brian Sweezy of Duluth, plan to be married Aug. 25 at Father Hennepin Bluffs Park in North­eastern Min­neapolis.

Her parents are Ken and Carole Langehaug of Eden Prairie. His parents are George and Alane Sweezy of Duluth.

The future bride, a 2003 graduate of West Lutheran High School in Plymouth, Minn., graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in religion, and from Northwestern College in St. Paul in 2009 with a master’s degree in theological studies. She is Minnesota Reading Corps Tutor for Americorps in New Hope, Minn.

The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a structural engineer at Automated Engin­eering Services in Plymouth.
