MEMORABLE MOMENT: Godfrey, Walters engagement

Kristen Godfrey and Ben Walters, both of Minneapolis, plan to be married Saturday in Bigelow Chapel in New Brighton, Minn.

Her parents are Marie Godfrey of Superior and the late Dennis Godfrey. His parents are James and Mary Walters of Hermantown.

The future bride, a 2001 graduate of Sup­erior Senior High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in business, public health and life sciences and in 2009 with a master’s degree in public health-policy and administration. She is a community care coordination supervisor at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Hermantown High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He is a project architect at HGA Architects and Engineers in Minneapolis.
