Herbert and Alvera Pierson 60th wedding anniversary

Herbert and Alvera Pierson of Duluth will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.

Herbert and Alvera Pierson of Duluth will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.

Herbert and the former Alvera Anderson were married July 12, 1952, in Duluth.

Their children are Dave and Kathy Pierson, Jeff and Barb Pierson, Lynne and Doug Compton and Brita and Andy Aug, all of Duluth, and Claire Pierson of Knife River. They have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Herbert is retired from Bridgeman’s in Duluth. Alvera is a retired nurse.

Their family wishes them many more years of continued love and happiness.
