Reader's view: DNT’s flood coverage was excellent

The flood coverage in the News Tribune on June 21 was magnificent. Kudos to all involved. This is what being a hometown newspaper is all about — and with the additional responsibility of regional coverage. The photos, videos and stories told the complete story, even down to what was happening in my wife’s former neighborhood on Third Street and at the Whole Foods Co-op.

We still have concerns about the cabin on Bergin Lake in Taft and our friends at the Minnoette in Fredenberg Township because the Cloquet River runs so nearby. But my sister-in-law and her husband in Woodland should bring us that news shortly.
