Gertsema, Johnson

Sara Gertsema and David Johnson, both of Duluth, plan to be married July 21 in Concordia Luth­eran Church in Duluth.

Her parents are Rick and Carrie Gertsema of Duluth. His parents are Mike and Kay Johnson of Willmar, Minn.

The future bride, a 2005 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Winterquist Elementary School in Esko.

The future groom, a 2005 graduate of Willmar Sen­ior High School, graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and from the University of Min­nesota in 2011 with a master’s degree in civil engineering. He is a civil engineer at Lake Superior Con­sulting in Duluth.
