Kelly Larson and Eric Carlson, both of Duluth, plan to be married Aug. 25 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Duluth.

Her parents are Steve and Annette Larson of Duluth. His parents are Greg and Kathy Carlson of Duluth.

The future bride, a 2005 graduate of Duluth East High School, is pursuing an associate degree in nursing at Lake Superior College in Duluth. She is a certified nursing assistant at Essentia Health in Duluth.

The future groom, a 2005 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from Central Lakes College in Staples, Minn., in 2008 with a heavy equipment operator diploma. He is an operator for Sinnott Black­top in Duluth.
