Severe thunderstorm warning for Duluth canceled

The National Weather Service in Duluth has canceled a severe thunderstorm warning that had been in effect for Duluth until 3:45 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Duluth has canceled a severe thunderstorm warning that had been in effect for Duluth until 3:45 p.m.

The storm that prompted the warning had weakened as of 3:40 p.m., but remained capable of producing small hail and gusty winds.

A flash flood watch remains in effect for most of the Northland through Wednesday. Additional thunderstorms, some possibly strong, are possible this evening and overnight.
