Dana Swanson and Ryan Nelson, both of Apple Valley, Minn. , plan to be married Aug. 25 in St. Edwards Church in Bloomington, Minn.
Her parents are Chuck and Barb Swanson of Superior. His parents are Larry and Fawn Nelson of Duluth.
The future bride, a 2005 graduate of Superior High School, graduated from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in aviation management. She is a noise and operations analysis coordinator for the Metropolitan Airport’s Commission in Bloomington.
The future groom, a 1991 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance. He is assistant vice president/risk manager for consumer banking at US Bank in Minneapolis.
