I WAS BORN: June 27, 2011, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Kristin and Jeremy Johnson of Proctor.

MY BROTHER IS: Vance, 9.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Dan and Val Halverson of Grand Rapids and Rick and Sue Johnson of Her­mantown.

MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHER IS: Marjorie “Gigi” Halverson of Cohasset.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: It took some time to find a name they both loved, but they say Finley fit me — their “fair-haired warrior” — just perfect!

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: There are so many things that we hope to teach you and show you, but beyond anything else we just want you to be happy. Life is a journey.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: It took us eight long years to finally have Princess Finley in our lives, and boy was she worth the wait!
