Reader's view: Justice has been stolen from the middle class and poor
Equal justice for all was not an illusion for our forefathers, including Abraham Lincoln. However, equal justice is an illusion for many of our middle class and poor. Lost is the reality of a government of and for all the people. The very rich and large corporations are able to buy justice and have beneficial justice for themselves.

Prejudice and class distinction are still alive, regardless of the great expectation afforded by our Constitution. Inalienable rights are not a freedom offered to the middle class and growing poor, who are surprised in some cases to find them unavailable.
When it comes to campaign finance reform, both the Republicans and Democrats we elect are spineless talkers. In the meantime, super PACs and lobbyists blatantly ignore reform and are becoming an unrestricted evil to our democracy, including our right for equal justice for all. Nothing is going to change unless we demand reform now.
Wall Street and banks have circumvented needed reform even after lawless financial gambling nearly brought our nation to bankruptcy and did bring huge amounts of unemployment for this country and the world. Taxpayers bailed out these corporations with hundreds of thousands of dollars. J.P. Morgan recently admitted
$2 billion in financial gambling. That should have been restricted by law but was successfully fought. This may be the tip of an iceberg; we do not know if other banks are losing billions because of careless and reckless desires for quick riches.
When are we going to take serious measures to correct our government? How often do we neglect? We the people can take action before even more serious problems arise.
