Health Notes: Conference to discuss health checklist for seniors

Living long and living well is the subject of a May 15 conference presented by Community Partners, a program in Two Harbors designed to help senior citizens remain in their own homes as long as possible.

Living long and living well is the subject of a May 15 conference presented by Community Partners, a program in Two Harbors designed to help senior citizens remain in their own homes as long as possible.

The conference, with the theme of “Checklist for Health,” will take place from 2-6:30 p.m. at Superior Shores Conference Center, 1521 Superior Shores Drive, Two Harbors.

The event includes two workshops, guest speaker Dr. Deb Allert, dinner and beverage, a performance by the Two Harbors High School Barbershop Quartet, a resource and information fair about local services for senior citizens and a silent auction fundraiser. The registration fee is $10.
