Daisy Hovet of Eveleth and Cory Cartier of Duluth plan to be married June 9 in the Kitchi Gammi Club in Duluth.

Her parents are Dale and Barb Hovet of Eveleth. His parents are Tom and Patty Cartier of Duluth.

The future bride, a 2004 graduate of Eveleth-Gilbert Senior High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2010 with a bachelor's degree. She is an account executive at Northland's NewsCenter in Duluth.

The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Marshall School, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree. He is an account executive at Cartier Agency Inc. in Duluth.
