Kevin C. Little, 55, of South Range, Wis., died unexpectedly at his home on April 1, 2012.
He was born June 9, 1956, the 14th child of William and June (Almer) Little.
Kevin was employed at Douglas County Highway Department, Maintenance Shop in Hawthorne, Wis.
He served 16 years in Wisconsin Army National Guard, including a combat tour in Iraq 2003-2004 of which he was extremely proud.
Kevin loved music, hunting and spending time with his family. Kevin is a life member of VFW Post 10197 Iron River, Wis., and a member of the American Legion Bong Hofsted Post 409 in Poplar, Wis. Kevin derived extreme pleasure from helping others.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father William; son Kevin, Jr.; sisters Antoinnette, Kathleen; brothers Warren, Justin and Patrick.
Kevin is survived by three daughters Christina Koshak, Elizabeth (C.J.) Opsahl and Katlin Little; fiancé Pam Caffrey; mother June Little; sisters Judy Hackett, Superior, Wis., Gail (Richard) Jackson of Augora Hills, Calif., Linda Wilgren, Wayzata, Minn., Lutie Carter, Poplar, Wis., Jessica Waskow, Cumberland, Wis.; brothers William Little III of Poplar, Wis., Wesley (Bonnie) Little of Poplar, Wis., Byron (Teruko) Little of Maple, Wis., Milton (Victoria) Little of Tickfaw, La., Garret (Liza) Little, of Hawthorne, Wis.; grandsons Alex and Luke Koshak; grandaughters Olivia and Isabella Opsahl and many many nephews, nieces and cousins. Deanna Orville of Brule, Wis. is the mother of Kevin's daughters.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, until the 11 a.m. service in Mission Covenant Church, Poplar, Wis. Internment at Poplar Cemetery with Military honors. Arrangements by Downs Funeral Home.
