How to get a meal at Food for Thought

To eat at Duluth East High School’s Food for Thought restaurant, reserve and preorder 24 hours in advance by calling (218) 336-8975, extension 4054.

The menu, which includes a weekly special, can be found at www.duluth.k12.mn.us by clicking on the East section, then to school information to find the restaurant link. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 1 p.m., with guests asked to arrive shortly before noon. Park in the main lot (some curbside parking available) and enter through the nurse’s entrance to the right of the main entrance. The restaurant is down the hall to the right.

Meals range from $6 to $12 and include a beverage and soup or salad. Only cash and checks are accepted. Tips pay for culinary field trips and other payment goes toward food costs. Tuesday is closed to a private event, but the restaurant, at 40th Avenue East and Superior Street, is open through May 31.
