BETTY J. OUELLETTE

Betty J. Ouellette, 79, Hermantown, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in Viewcrest Health Center.

She was born in Duluth June 15, 1932 at the former Webber Hospital to James and Vivian (Bergman) Gonyea.

Betty was a 1950 Duluth Central graduate and later a Duluth Business Univ. graduate.

Betty married Richard "Dick" Ouellette June 2, 1973 and would have celebrated 39 years this summer. She worked in the banking industry for years and after marrying Dick they began D & B Communications, Inc. audio business for 27 years. Dick and Betty retired and lived at Island Lake, Milwaukee, Wis, Green Valley, Ariz., Pineville, Missouri. In 2006 Illness brought Dick and Betty back to Duluth.

Betty's hobbies included crafts and painting and occasionally she enjoyed the casino slots. She was a member of the Elks Lodge 133.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and sister Joyce Olson.

She is survived by husband Richard.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Monday March 26 with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. in Sunrise Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Sunrise Memorial Park Mausoleum. Lunch and fellowship will follow services. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to St. Lukes Hospice.
