Amelia Marie Kirchner
I WAS BORN: Oct. 31, 2011, in St. Luke's hospital in Duluth.
MY PARENTS ARE: Eric and Tawney Kirchner of Duluth.
MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Earl and Harriet Braman of Superior and Jeff and Pam Kirchner of Owatonna, Minn.
MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHERS ARE: Trudy Bergren of Superior and Carol Peterson and Delores Kirchner, both of Owatonna.
MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Mommy and Daddy didn't know if I was going to be a boy or a girl. They had three girl names they liked and only one boy name. Once they saw me they knew Amelia would fit me best!
PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: We hope you live each day to the fullest.
SOMETHING SPECIAL: You were stubborn, even in utero. You were breech at our 20-week ultrasound and again at 32-33 weeks. We scheduled a version procedure and three different doctors tried to turn our little stinker without success, so we scheduled a Caesarean section. Now here you are, sweet as can be! You have brightened our lives with all your smiles and laughter. We love you so much, sweet girl.
