Piper Marie Koralia I WAS BORN: Jan. 3, 2012, in St. Luke's hospital in Duluth. Kaycen Marie Becker I WAS BORN: Nov. 15, 2011, in Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

Piper Marie Koralia

I WAS BORN: Jan. 3, 2012, in St. Luke's hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Michael and Jennifer Koralia of Duluth.

MY SIBLINGS ARE: Nathan, 9, and Ella, 2.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Robert and Betty Anseth, Kim Koralia and Mike Koralia, all of Duluth.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Kathy Redenbaugh and Jack Southwick of Duluth; Bill and Bunny Redenbaugh of Hibbing; and the late Ted and Joyce Thompson, Dorrisey and Kay Anseth, and John and Mary Koralia.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Mommy heard the name over the years and its uniqueness just stuck with her. When she suggested it to Daddy he loved it. My middle name was chosen because it is the same middle name as Great-grandma Kathy, Grandma Kim, Auntie Katie, Auntie Kathy and my cousin Kaycen.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Always know how much you are truly loved. We are so very blessed to have you! You are the luckiest little girl to have such a wonderful big brother and sister who absolutely adore you and are so proud to have you as their lil' sister.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Mom and Dad decided not to find out if I was a girl or boy, so when I was born Dad was the first person to find out. My cousin Kaycen was born exactly seven weeks before me, so I already have my partner in crime.

Kaycen Marie Becker

I WAS BORN: Nov. 15, 2011, in Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Katie Koralia and Justin Becker of Duluth.

MY SISTER IS: Kennidee, 4.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Kim Koralia, Mike Koralia and Neal Becker, all of Duluth, and Carrie and Ken Funke of Naples, Fla.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Kathy Redenbaugh and Jack Southwick, Geraldine Peterson and Louise Becker and Marty Anderson, all of Duluth; Bill and Bunny Redenbaugh of Hibbing; and the late John and Mary Koralia and Gilbert Hoglund.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Your sister Kennidee thought of the name while jumping on the couch. She asked us if we could name you Kaycen if you were a girl and we loved it!

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Follow your dreams; nothing is impossible if you want it. Laugh lots, love big!

SOMETHING SPECIAL: We didn't find out if you were a girl or a boy. You and your sister were both born on Tuesdays and both were the exact same height and weight at birth! Your cousin Piper was born exactly seven weeks after you.
