Mayor Don Ness will deliver the annual State of the City address on Monday, March 5 at the DECC, in Lake Superior Ballroom. The event begins at 6 p.m. with City Councilor Dan Hartman making opening remarks followed by the Mayor's address at 6:30 p.m.
The State of the City address will be broadcast live on the Northland’s NewsCenter My9 station, which is channel 9 on Charter cable. The Mayor's address will be recorded and replayed on Public Access Community Television on channels 7, 16, and 20.
Admission is free and the entire community is invited to take part.
The speech will be followed by employee recognition awards and the announcement of the 2011 Clarence Maddy award winner.
