DOROTHY ELAINE LEERSSEN

Dorothy Elaine Leerssen, 87, of Duluth, formerly of Cloquet, passed away on Feb. 7, 2012 in Solvay Hospice House.

She was born on May 22, 1924 in Plum City, Wis., to Jasper and Hildur (Olson) Cedarblade.

Dorothy was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cloquet.

She was preceded in death by her husband Otto in 2002 and her brother Floyd Cedablade.

Dorothy is survived by son Neil (Betsy) of Newport, RI; grandchildren Jens of San Francisco, Calif., and Anika of Portland, Ore.

VISITATION: 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 until the 2 pm Funeral Service in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 515 Skyline Blvd, Cloquet. Spring interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet.
