Michael Robert Calistro-Gomulak

I WAS BORN: Sept. 28, 2011, in Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minn.

MY PARENTS ARE: Gina Calistro and Scott Gomulak of Minong.

MY BROTHER IS: Trevor Gomulak, 14.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Carol Calistro of Coon Rapids, and Steve and Peggy Gomulak of Superior.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Margaret Olson of New Brighton, Minn.; Tracy Gomulak of Superior; and Gladys Beers of Webster.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Michael is the name of Mom's father who passed away after complications from being hit by a drunk driver on Easter 2009. On Dad's side Michael was the name of a deceased paternal great-grandfather and a great-uncle.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: We wish you a lifetime of success, happiness and opportunity. We will always be here for you, no matter what! You captured our hearts forever the minute you were born.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Michael was born weighing 15 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 23 inches long. From what we understand he is Minnesota's record baby. Word spread fast throughout the Northland and he is known as the "big" baby. Yes, he was delivered via Caesarean section.
