Anne Moeller and Morgan Jones, both of Dallas, were married Sept. 4 at Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs, Colo.

Her parents are John Moeller and Connie Moeller, both of Duluth. His parents are Bill Jones and Linda Fuqua-Jones of Monument, Colo.

The bride chose her sister, Mary Moeller, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Townsend, Emily Weidemann and Michelle Winter.

The groom chose Shannon Upchurch as best man. Groomsmen were Ian Jones, Jeremy Malone and Shawn Verde.

The bride, a 2000 graduate of Proctor High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in advertising and public relations. She is a communications manager for GE Capital in Dallas.

The groom, a 1999 graduate of Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument, Colo., graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is a pricing manager for GE Capital in Dallas.

Flavorful favors

They were married in the shadow of Pikes Peak during an outdoor ceremony before 100 people on an unusually lucky day without rain. As a special gift, guests received home-made Minnesota maple syrup in custom maple leaf bottles from the bride's father.
