Charles and Toni Olsen of Hermantown celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children, followed by a night out on the town in a limousine with family and friends.

Charles and the former Toni Shenett were married Jan. 3, 1987, in Zion Lutheran Church in Superior.

Their children are Ryan and Myji Shopa Olsen, Dustin Olsen and Stephanie Olsen, all of Hermantown. They have four grandchildren.

Charles works at Conway Freight in Duluth. Toni works at Olsen Employment Specialists in Hermantown.

Secrets for staying married: There are good times and there are bad times in any marriage. The secret is communication, understanding and love.
