Astro Bob blog: Australian amateur discovers rare sungrazing comet

The first sungrazing comet seen from Earth in 40 years was just discovered by amateur astronomer Terry Lovejoy in Australia. We won't see it in the northern hemisphere, but we can watch it brighten up on our computer screens as it tracks closer and closer to the sun.
