Duluth: Fourth Fest, 12:30 p.m. Bayfront Festival Park. Features performances by Shaunna Heckman, Sarah Krueger, Dirty Horse, 4onthefloor, and Charlie Parr and the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra as well as the Mighty Thomas Shows Carnival, vendors and food. Moose Lake: Kids’ games, cake walk, bingo, interactive bird show and more from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Parade held at 10 a.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.
Silver Bay: Children’s parade begins at 11 a.m. in front of the Wells Fargo Bank. There will be fireworks at dusk, with the suggested viewing spot in the shopping center parking lot.
Superior: Parade at 11 a.m. on Morterelli Drive, west on Belknap to Ogden Avenue, and north to Broadway. Also features a car show at 2 p.m. on Tower Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets and fireworks at dusk over Superior Airport. Call (715) 394-9673.
Two Harbors: Games for children hosted by the Fire Department at 10 a.m. at the field near the Two Harbors Arena. There will also be a pie and ice cream fundraiser for Socially Active Seniors at 4 p.m. at the community center. The Two Harbors City Band will play a patriotic set at 7:30 p.m. at Thomas Owens Park.
