Take the Kids blog: "Little Elves Store"

Here’s an event you can take the kids to, but you’ll have to stay outside because the Lots for Tots Little Elves Store is for KIDS ONLY. Ooo, to be a kid again and be able to peek behind that curtain!

The Little Elves Store is a bit like a rummage sale, staffed by adult elves who will help children ages 3-12 pick out gifts to give to their parents, siblings, teachers, or anyone on their list. They can spread their independent wings and really surprise you with a gift, and they can spread out their allowance, too, with most gifts priced between 5 cents and 75 cents. Their gifts will be wrapped at the store, too.

The Elves store is open Saturday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Santa will be there from 10-1, and parents can take their own pictures. Donations to the food shelf will be accepted, and the store also is a drop-off site for Toys for Tots.
