The Lake Superior Zoo hosts "Boo at the Zoo" Saturday, Oct. 9 and Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event features trick-or-treating, hay rides, costume contests and more. Halloween costumes are recommended, and animals will be on exhibit.
Tickets are $9 at the gate for adults and children. (Adult zoo members are free.) Children ages 2 and older must have a ticket. Advance tickets are $8 at the zoo office, Little Stores and Wells Fargo.
