Rink and Run blog: Calgary sends Meyers to Abbotsford

The NHL Calgary Flames have sent former Minnesota Duluth defenseman Josh Meyers to Abbotsford (British Columbia) in the American Hockey League. The assignment was made Friday and the team release is here.
Meyers, 24, had 18 points in 54 games with Abbotsford last season.
