Here are results from the Duluth Retriever Club’s annual AKC-licensed Field Trial held Aug. 20-22 at the club, just north of Duluth.
Among those from Northeastern Minnesota who placed well was David Furin of Hibbing, whose dog FC AFC Landovers Right on Target placed third in the Amateur All-Age stake; Dave Rorem, a professional trainer from Littlefork, Minn., and formerly of International Falls, took fourth in the Open All-Age stake with a dog named Penmarks Mighty Hummvee.
