Take the Kids blog: "Jolly Roger" children's show during ships festival

"Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen," featuring children ages 8-12, will be performed at the Tall Ships Festival on the main stage Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Festival grounds for the Tall Ships Festival open at 11 a.m. Thursday, and the Grand Parade of Sail is at 2 p.m. The weekend is full of stuff for families to do, many of them listed on the Visit Duluth website, but they don't include a children's show that will be on the main stage Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. "Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen" features kids ages 8-12, including two of my own. Another show, "Pirates of Penzance," will be performed Thursday-Sunday at 6 p.m.
