Catching up on some youth hockey notes:
Right winger Ryan Lundgren and center Connor Valesano have been named to a 21-player Minnesota Advanced 15 boys roster for a USA Hockey Select Development Camp July 15-21 in Rochester, N.Y. Both will be Duluth East sophomores this fall and were chosen after a series of district tryout camps.
East defenseman Meirs Moore took part in a Select 16 camp that ended Wednesday in Rochester, N.Y., while East defenseman Andy Welinski, a Minnesota Duluth recruit, will take part in a Select 17 camp July 7-13 in Rochester.
