The Red Line Report ranking of 2010-11 college recruiting classes shows the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in a power position with six league members in the top nine, with Minnesota Duluth at No. 9. The independent recruiting service projects incoming classes based on professional potential. Andy Baggot of the Wisconsin State Journal had a Red Line story in Monday's editions here.

The Red Line Report rankings: 1. Minnesota, 2. North Dakota, 3. Boston University, 4. Denver, 5. Notre Dame, 6. Boston College, 7. Colorado College, 8. Wisconsin, 9. Minnesota Duluth.

Expected to be in UMD’s freshman class for 2010-11 are defensemen Luke McManus of Rosemount, Minn., and Justin Faulk of South St. Paul; and forwards Joe Basaraba of Fort Frances, Ontario; J.T. Brown of Rosemount, Minn.; and Duluth’s Chris Stafne and Max Tardy.
