Outdoors blog: Join city deer hunters for a spring clean-up
By: Sam Cook, Duluth News Tribune
Deer hunters will hunt up some litter Saturday
For the third year in a row, the Arrowhead Bowhunters Alliance, which conducts Duluth's city bowhunt for deer, will sponsor a city clean-up effort. This year's clean-up will run from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday (April 24). Participants should meet at the McDonald's just off Interstate 35 at the Spirit Mountain exit (the McDonald's is next to the Holiday gas station).
Past years' clean-ups have been highly successful and have drawn praise from Duluth city officials.
If you're planning to take part, go to the Arrowhead Bowhunters Alliance website at www.bowhuntersalliance.org to sign up.
