Prom Made Cheaper...Much Cheaper.Prom doesn’t have to be spendy.

The Prom season is up and coming, but the prices don’t have to be. Constructed by East’s own Sarah Spangenberg, the Facebook group encouraging young ladies to ‘reuse’ their dresses has become quite a hit.
Spangenberg posted on the website, “Prom dresses are expensive, but we all have like seven in our closets sitting there from previous years. Basically I started this group to see if other girls want to check out each others' old dresses and potentially trade or exchange or borrow or whatever, for free! If you're interested, upload a picture of the dress you'd be willing to lend to another girl, and caption it with your name and the size of the dress. If you see a dress you like, you can send that person a message or contact them in another way.
Even if you already have a dress, you could still put up one of your old dresses so that another girl might be able to borrow it this year for prom. The idea is to save some people some serious money.
“Maybe this won't work, but it's worth a shot,” said Spangenberg.
Currently there are 47 members of the group, and approximately 20 dresses available and waiting to be escorted around the dance floor by prince charming.
