Song of the Week VI: Archeology’s ‘White Walls’
Each week A&E reporter Matthew R. Perrine not-so-subtly suggests a song you should know by heart.
Each week I not-so-subtly suggest a song you should know by heart. For this very special sixth edition, I chose “White Walls,” the couldn’t-harm-a-fly second single from Portland group Archeology’s buzzed-about album “Memorial.” The group — primarily a duo consisting of Jason Davis and Daniel Walker (both the spawn of preacher men, interestingly enough), at least in the studio — is particularly recommended for fans of the Terrordactyls, Pleasant Grove and Sir Salvatore. Anyway, if you like what you hear, visit www.myspace.com/archeology and petition the group to come to the great state of Minnesota.
