Douglas County Fish & Game Show this weekend
It's shaping up to be a big weekend, with steelhead season opening on Wisconsin's Brule River and a North Shore run of steelhead possible as well, but don't forget a little inside activity as well. The Douglas County Fish & Game League’s annual Sport Show will be held Friday through Sunday at Wessman Arena in Superior.
A $7 admission is good for all three days, and kids 12 and under are admitted free. The event will include boat and fishing displays, recreational vehicles, hunting dogs, cowboy fast-draw, a live fish pond, Department of Natural Resources representatives and more.
Entry ticket is good for drawings for seven grand prizes. Show hours are:
Friday: 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
