Alex A. Granholm, 87, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Saginaw, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010, in Ocala.
He was born in Cloquet on Nov. 5, 1922. Alex moved to Florida from Saginaw in 1990. Prior to retirement, he was an ironworker with Local No. 563. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and served with the Seebees.
He is survived by four nieces: Darla Peterson (LeRoy), Judy Prouty (Henry) and Delores Janke, all of Saginaw, and Cheryl Guthrie of Duluth.
